Description
Just like its name says, this recipe literally came from my grandmother’s china hutch. This classic pie is well-known by those in the northern states and from colder climates overseas. Ruby-red rhubarb is tart, strawberries are sweet, and marrying them together gives you a true “sweet tart” pie that’s hard to find these days. Always in short supply — real rhubarb does not grow in the south, so we get it whenever we can find it.
